Chandika Sthan is one of sixty-fourth divine shrine (Shakti Peeth) of Goddess Sati. It is situated in the northeast region of the Munger city, in Vindhya Mountain cave on the bank of the river Ganga.
To the southern west part of Munger district in Bihar there is an area named as Bhimbandh. It is spread across an area of 682 square kilometer which comprises of tropical dense forest covering undulating tract of Kharagpur hills.

औरंगाबाद जिला मुख्‍यालय से अठारह (18) किलोमीटर की दूरी पर देव सूर्यधाम मंदिर अवस्थित है। पुरातात्विक द़ष्टिकोण से महत्‍वपूर्ण इस मंदिर का शिखर 100 फीट उचॉ है। इसका निर्माण चौकोर अलंक़त पाषाण खण्‍डो को लौह कलैम्‍प से जोड कर किया गया है।
